Heather Robinson Obituary, Death – Ohio Nurse, Navy Veteran and Beloved Mother Remembered After Motorcycle Accident
Heather Marie Robinson, 42, of Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, in Cortland following a motorcycle accident. Her death has left her family, friends, former colleagues, and the many people whose lives she touched mourning a woman remembered for her intelligence, courage, compassion, and adventurous spirit.
Born June 29, 1984, in Warren, Heather graduated from Southeast High School in 2003. She continued her education in nursing, earning her LPN license from ECPI University before later becoming a registered nurse through Fortis Institute.
Her career in nursing reflected her caring personality and commitment to helping others. Heather had a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and supported, bringing both compassion and humor to her work. She was remembered as the kind of nurse whose impact extended beyond the workplace and stayed with the people she encountered.
Heather also served four years in the United States Navy in Norfolk, Virginia. Her military service became an important part of a life characterized by determination, discipline, and a willingness to take on challenges.
Outside of work, Heather enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends. She also had a passion for home improvement projects and embraced the adventurous side of life. Her interests reflected a practical, creative, and fearless personality that those close to her will remember fondly.
Family was at the center of Heather’s life. She was the daughter of Wayne and Cathy Robinson, sister of Justin Robinson and Adam Robinson, and aunt to Carter, Shiann, and Josie Robinson. She was also the mother of Karmin and Skyler Ainsworth, whom she loved deeply.
Heather’s family described her as intelligent, adventurous, and selfless. Friends and loved ones will remember her sense of humor, her ability to make people laugh, and the way she could make difficult moments feel a little easier.
Her life was cut short at 42, but the impact she made remains through her children, family, friends, patients, fellow veterans, nursing colleagues, and everyone who shared part of her journey.
A visitation is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls. The Nurse Honor Guard of Trumbull County Delta XI will recognize Heather for her nursing service at 4:45 p.m. that afternoon.
A celebration of Heather’s life will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 27, at the VFW, 433 Arlington Blvd., Newton Falls, Ohio.
Heather Marie Robinson will be remembered for the courage with which she lived, the compassion she brought to nursing, the love she gave her family, and the adventurous spirit that made her unmistakably herself. Her memory will continue through the many people whose lives she touched.
